Are Tee Tee

Hey everybody! How's- GAH!  $@&*! #*%$! *% $*&%!!!  $$*^#@)$*!!!!!

randomtuesday

As sure as the sun rises in the east, I will stub my toe on the baby's bouncy chair at least once a day and usually at about 5am or while I'm actually holding the baby with the other kids around and can't... express myself properly.

My first week on the job out of training, in pictures.

The writing on my shirt from the 15th says, "extra large, double-double," which won't make any sense to you unless you live in Canada. It's one of those magical things like universal health care, colourful money and the actual separation of church and state.

While playing with Play-Doh the other day...
Supreme Leader: What are you making?
Liam: It's poison! Isn't it beautiful?
We keep his door locked at night.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year..." Back to school? Whatever, it's the beginning of the fall tv season! Speaking of school, the kids were in bed nice and early tonight... so they will be fresh for school tomorrow.

And so ends this half-assed post. Hawaii Five-O is on. Aloha.

Go visit Keely and join the fun.

  1. Teach me your ways, Captain. Depending on what happens this November, I may need to learn how to pass as a Canadian.

Glad the job is going well.

  2. Hmm.. a good week then!?!

Interestingly my kids mix up poison potions in empty shampoo bottles at bathtime, and have arguments over whose is the most toxic!

  3. Oh I miss the double-double. I wish I could get them here in NZ. :( You make me long for home in the biggest way!

  5. I could use a double double right now. Glad the first week went well. Those are some cute kids you got there.

  6. See you did make it! And without taking anyone out of the picture too. Pat yourself on the back, right along with that littlest man...burp.

Now next week we are working on adding color to our art.

  7. What is an extra large double double and why can't it be imported? You send us hockey players and maple syrup, but we're not good enough for this happy beverage?

And why does your youngest child always look like he's bent on global domination?

  8. You can get double doubles at the Timmies in NY state. I figure maybe it's the beginning of a long awaited Canadian takeover and makeover of US culture--if not the whole shebang. Bwahaha.

Thanks for the morning giggle. And man oh man, you're up early! It's only 6 a.m for you now! Unless you cheated and scheduled the post. You did, didn't you? Good on ya!! :oD

  9. LOVE the picture of the kids! They are so cute :)

  10. Oh, we rrrroll up the rrrrim to win here in Detroit, as well. That's the first photo I've seen of the two big boys where I didn't have to tell them apart by size! Connor's looking more like SL, and Liam takes after his daddy, which explains the poison.

  11. I enjoyed the difference between 9/16 and 9/17. The lack of sleep can sometimes be overcome with joy!

  12. You won't explain extra wide double double to your neighbors to the South? Then we're not sharing our funnel cakes or Southern Baptist Convention with you either.

  13. Awwww, look at the baby with his brothers.... adorable :-)

  14. I love how your middle boy looks just a little bit evil in every single picture.

Congrats on the test! I'm not sure what that means exactly, but it sounds pretty awesome.

  18. Sweet beautiful poison you passed your job training! Congratulations!!

  19. Ah the joy of door locks... just kidding. I'd never lock my kid in his room. But I've held the door while HE pounded from the inside to get out. Am I mean or is it just tough love? And why are boys such maniacs?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Congrats on the pass - that's all that really matters!!!! The kids are darling!!!
    Happy Random!

  21. I'm a little confused Captain. Why are you wearing dresses to work?

  22. Poison...I'd be checking my food if I were you.

  23. Congratulations on making it and passing your test!! I love premier week on TV. There are a lot of new shows to take a look at this year. How'd you like Hawaii 5-0?

  24. Here in CA, "double double" is the most awesome hamburger you can get at the best burger chain in the world--In'n'Out. I'm pretty sure Canada doesn't have that. You can keep your damn universal health care.

    Kids look very cute!

  25. Even though Liam is smiling....he looks a little evil............just saying

  26. Your little cartoon synopsis on how your first week on the job after training cracked me up! You survived! WooHoo!!

LOVE that picture of your kiddos - especially the evil/mischievous look! ;)

Poison? Yep, I'd be keeping that door locked tight at night...

WooHoo! On the new TV season! I DVR'd Hawaii Five-0 so hubby and I could watch it together - won't get to enjoy that until tomorrow night since hubby had a late night at work last night and band practice tonight...I was tempted to sneak preview it today! ;)

RTT: Summer's End, Winemaking and Barf

  27. Poison - is Liam in 1st grade? Our little dude was coloring dogs & bones yesterday. When I asked why the bones were all black, he gave me the exact same answer..... Good thing we only have cats

Good luck with the work & sleep thing

  28. In that picture I think the baby is doing the Vulcan mind-meld with the other two...you are in trouble now!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Happy RTT! congratulations on your exam, that's great news. The boys look so cute. :)

  30. High five, bro! Oh, and a beer on the occasion of passing your exam! *clink* Slainte!

  31. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels they have to sleep with one eye open at night. My son's latest obcession is weapons, and robots to carry out his evil do-ings. Lord help me. -J

  34. OMGosh, I am loving the play-doh story. He is going to be a mad scientist one day, I just know it!! Seriously, the boys are ADORABLE! Congrats on passing your exam! :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. You could make that into a cartoon. The adventures of Captain Dumbass. I'll be looking for it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Those bouncy chairs jump out at you, I swear that they do! I don't have a toenail left from those.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Heeeyyyy, congrats on passing! Ahh, your three wonderful sons. And so the scheming starts. They have that look in their eyes. bwahahahahaha

  38. My wife still has a list of everything I used to regularly trip on when I had to get up early in the morning to feed our daughter. I just have the scars.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm stepping on legos these days-yeaoooowwww.
The 9/15-9/16 drawing is fabulous- the dark circles just kill me.

    Congrats on passing your test!

  40. "it's poison, isnt it beautiful?"
    Ahahahaha! hillarious!
    When emos come into being...

    ReplyDelete
  41. What???!!! There's actual separation of church and state somewhere?

    Dude.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hahaha! Not that I laugh at your pain, but "$@&*! #*%$! *% $*&%!!! $$*^#@)$*!!!!!" was freakin' funny!

And at least Liam is making something useful. When I was that age I was trying to make paper dolls out of my play-doh. Yah, whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  43. We don't care what you say or do, as long as you include a gratuitous shot of that baby boy every once in a while....

    Ellie

  44. Love that pic of the boys! They all look so much alike!

Oooh to live in Canada and actually have those magical things. I'd really love the actual separation of church and state right about now. I'm terrified of what's going to happen with the next elections with all these radical Republicans. It's enough to give me nightmares.

  45. The please sleep baby picture is hilarious especially since it is not happening to me anymore.

I love fall TV too. I love even more because it means the end of all the summer TV my wife watches. Some of that stuff actually makes my eyes bleed.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Lovely kids and a fine way to represent your week. But as for Hawaii Five 0 - how can anyone resist its lure? Congrats on the job and the exam.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I like the "please sleep baby" picture best. You really captured that parental look. Congratulations on passing the exam!

Those boys are too damn cute.

    ReplyDelete
  48. A half-assed post is better than none and "none" is what I've produced in the last month. I, too, celebrate the arrival of fall television. Congratulations on the exam passing. There's nothing quite like it for letting you know that, despite the extreme possibility of IQ reduction (as a result of staying home with children), you can still demonstrate academic ability in some areas. I would "high five" you...but it's a far reach from here.

    ReplyDelete
  49. And the fella withe the poison? Red rover, red rover, send him right over.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Beautiful poison. Now that's different!

Glad you and the kids had a good week.

Great photo of the kids. Both of the older boys has mischief in their eyes. It makes me smile.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Congrats on the "Passed!" As for 'evil' looking Liam, yes, if evil means ADOrABLE!

But, poison potion...yeah, I say don't let him feed the baby!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ahhh FALL TV and POISON and all in one post. Should I be concerned that I actually have to make a spreadsheet of my TV shows so I don't forget when they're on? Am I poisoning my brain with Hawaii five-o alohas? I do NOT think so!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oy, I haven't been over here in a while! Oh well, I'm sure you'll forgive me. Even though I don't have as great an "excuse" as a newborn.

How are the boys? How is school going? You two getting any sleep yet? Glad to hear you passed your exam. How have the last few weeks at the job gone?

Not sure what's up with all the questions. Hope you're enjoying your Fall TV Season!

Come on, sailor. I love you long time.
