Darth Vader: So, you have a brother on the way. Your feelings have now betrayed him, too. Obi-Wan was wise to hide him from me. Now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the Dark Side... then perhaps he will...
Luke: NO!
(Ignore the phantom Obi-wan in the window with the camera.)

Telling me to ignore the phantom Obi-wan is about as worthwhile as telling me to ignore the bacon butty shop on my way to work.
ReplyDeletethank goodness it was not the moon. smiles. too cute! soon!
ReplyDeleteTelling me not to look doesn't work. It just makes me stare. Didn't you learn anything from your kids?
ReplyDeleteJust realized where you're from. I'm a BC girl. Born, raised, took a hiatus for college in Alberta, then back to BC.
ReplyDeleteUntil I met a guy. Now I'm in PA. Weird.
Anyay, this post is too cute. I didn't even clue in at first--until the scroll down. So funny!
Phantom? I thought it was a hologram!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Poor Supreme Leader. I remember the third trimester...
ReplyDeleteI knew I would find lego men over here. Now pass me a grilled cheese and I won't hurt anyone.
ReplyDeleteAs a mother of three sons, I knew right away that Obi-Wan was trespassing on some dangerous territory. Supreme Leader must have a great sense of humor for letting you use her as a lunar landing for Legos. And much patience.
ReplyDeleteThat's no moon. It's a space station!
ReplyDeleteSL proves once again to be a good sport. Especially considering that she is soon to live in a house with even more testosterone than before.
ReplyDeleteThe phantom Obi-Wan -- is that you?????
ReplyDeleteI looked at the Phantom too...Lego's are so cute in space!
ReplyDeleteI hope you rubbed her feet after you took that picture ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou didn't drug her to get that picture, did you?
ReplyDeleteThat's no moon, that's a space-- er, stomach.
ReplyDeleteI see, starting the boy child out right. Most Dads just talk or sing to their unborn children.
ReplyDeleteListen carefully to his crying when he first appears. He might be wailing "paaadaaawaaaan."
I noticed the image in the window before I read your little note. Awesome. Love the legos, love the phantom, but the beautiful belly steals the shots.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Obi-wan is nearby to protect the planet.
ReplyDeletephantom? wha???
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive bump.
ReplyDeleteIf this kid turns out evil, how will you tell?
ReplyDeleteThe krappe she lets you get away with is amazing.
ReplyDeleteShe is certainly a good sport- or was SL asleep?
ReplyDeleteMy Love threatened my life if I ever took a photo of her pregnant. Did you drug yours?
ReplyDeleteyour wife is obviously very patient.
ReplyDeleteWe're you comparing SL to the DeathStar? Just checkin'
ReplyDeleteLuv it.....to cute;)
ReplyDeleteObi-won is taller than I remembered.
ReplyDeleteThis is just all sorts of awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd I remember when I was that big... but, it's easy to forget exactly how it feels though. Probably the reason we are able to do it more than once.
(Well, we'll see about that!)
I really hope SL got something out of this... :-)
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it was on your shoulder, then I saw the second picture. I'm surprised she let you do that. Way too funny!
ReplyDeleteWow, am I ever glad hubby didn't have a blog when I was pregnant.
ReplyDeleteYour wife is a good sport.
ReplyDeleteAll sorts of awesome. I bow to your greatness sir.
ReplyDeletei might be the only man alive who has never seen star wars but i think i've heard of obi-wan
ReplyDeleteMost people take pictures of coffee mugs balanced on pregnant stomachs... Only you.
ReplyDeleteYou still have time to act out ALL the scenes from Empire on planet Belly...right??
ReplyDeletehttp://www.apackalipsnow.blogspot.com
So.Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember Obi-Wan ever smiling like that...
May the Force be with you, binding your galaxy together. Good luck in the coming weeks!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I love the first picture, seeing you in the glass and your expression. It is priceless and wonderful.
ReplyDeletethat poor woman...the things you put her through!!! ;-) thanks for the update, of sorts...
ReplyDeleteMy admiration for Supreme Leader just grows and grows. She must have a great sense of humor! And thanks for pointing out the phantom. I never would have noticed . . . :D
ReplyDeleteC'est ne pas une lune...c'est une nouveau Lord de Sith.
ReplyDeleteOr...that's what happened to all those grilled cheese guys.
ReplyDeleteLove the ghost of the laughing jedi in the window. I know I wasn't supposed to look directly at it...
ReplyDeleteAnd now we all know why she is the Supreme Leader... (and yes, I have been the victim of Lego character warfare too.)
ReplyDeleteShould I be worried that my daughter was better at recognizing that the belly was the vehicle for displaying the Legos than I was? Maybe not.
ReplyDeleteHa - I love this shot! Your wife is a good sport.
ReplyDeleteYou never fail to make me laugh man. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love the glimpse of the man in the window! Supreme Leader is sport to play star wars for us all.
ReplyDeleteMy God, how could I not keep my eyes off the phantom in the window?
ReplyDeleteYour wife must crack up at you! LOL
ReplyDeleteYoung Obi Wan has learned much.
ReplyDeleteI step away from my computer for a few weeks and THIS happens?! Baby Dumbass is almost here! That is one gorgeous preggo belly. I'm a little jealous right now.
ReplyDeleteShe looks totally ready to pop but she wears it well :)
ReplyDeleteI sense a disturbance in the window...a lauguing phantom I haven't sensed before..LOL , great post !
ReplyDeleteWow... for a planet it is very small, yet for a baby-belly it is kind of huge! ;)
ReplyDeleteLast minute preparations are important...I think you guys have got things covered (but not so much in that picture!)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I totally thought the reflection was some creeper outside at first. *shudder*
ReplyDeleteLMAO! Your wife must think you are crazy. But, a fun crazy, so it's all good. Oh, and I didn't even notice the phantom until you pointed him out. That's how observant I am. hehe
ReplyDeleteOkay! This is funny!
ReplyDeleteGerardine
Babies are nowhere near as interesting as the offer of wine. Where the hell are ya??
ReplyDeleteYour wife has infinite patience. Does she get to dress up as Princess Leia too?
ReplyDeleteYou're not right. And precisely why I read your blog.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this.
ReplyDeleteMy wife just gave birth. I see this as a missed opportunity. The Force was not strong with me.
ReplyDeleteLove that big belly! Does time fly right by, or is it just me??
ReplyDeleteEllie
This post made me laugh. Your wife just seems to go with the flow...
ReplyDeleteFunny dude... funny.
ReplyDeleteYour wife is a saint for putting up with that. I'd have had to kill you.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha! I especially love the look of utter glee on your face!
