Week 34: The Empire Strikes Back

Darth Vader: So, you have a brother on the way. Your feelings have now betrayed him, too. Obi-Wan was wise to hide him from me. Now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the Dark Side... then perhaps he will...
Luke: NO!

(Ignore the phantom Obi-wan in the window with the camera.)

  1. Telling me to ignore the phantom Obi-wan is about as worthwhile as telling me to ignore the bacon butty shop on my way to work.

  3. Telling me not to look doesn't work. It just makes me stare. Didn't you learn anything from your kids?

  4. Just realized where you're from. I'm a BC girl. Born, raised, took a hiatus for college in Alberta, then back to BC.

Until I met a guy. Now I'm in PA. Weird.

Anyay, this post is too cute. I didn't even clue in at first--until the scroll down. So funny!

  7. I knew I would find lego men over here. Now pass me a grilled cheese and I won't hurt anyone.

  8. As a mother of three sons, I knew right away that Obi-Wan was trespassing on some dangerous territory. Supreme Leader must have a great sense of humor for letting you use her as a lunar landing for Legos. And much patience.

  10. SL proves once again to be a good sport. Especially considering that she is soon to live in a house with even more testosterone than before.

  16. I see, starting the boy child out right. Most Dads just talk or sing to their unborn children.

Listen carefully to his crying when he first appears. He might be wailing "paaadaaawaaaan."

  17. I noticed the image in the window before I read your little note. Awesome. Love the legos, love the phantom, but the beautiful belly steals the shots.

And I remember when I was that big... but, it's easy to forget exactly how it feels though. Probably the reason we are able to do it more than once.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Should I be worried that my daughter was better at recognizing that the belly was the vehicle for displaying the Legos than I was? Maybe not.
