RTT: Because

Because I haven't done a Random Tuesday post in almost a month.

randomtuesday

Bladeless fan. Because that is way cool.

Velociraptor leg. Because chicken legs are too small.

Because it combines Pulp Fiction and The Empire Strikes Back.

Because it's made of paper.

Swimming pigs. Just because.

Because one day, he'll run with the wolves too.

Keely, the Un-Mom. Because she started all of this.

  4. FYI..went to buy one of those bladeless fans.

    400 dollars.

    for a fan.

I'll take the 15 dollar blade one with finger-chopping accessories, thankyouverymuch.

  5. So it IS Finn? Good choice. That bladeless fan is so effing cool. Do you think I could get some pet pigs to keep my kids company in the pool?

    ReplyDelete
  6. It's like you read my mind. I was discussing the bladeless fan with my brother yesterday. He said "I don't know. It seems like they're just trying to remove parts from things and find ways to make it work still" (bladeless fan, wheelless vac, etc)

I want a pig! or a goat. seriously.

  7. When pigs swim its a whole lot cooler than when pigs fly!

    ReplyDelete
  8. :) because your blog is awesome and your kids are way too cute.

  9. Finn Wolfe. Good name. I'm sticking with Mickey Finn, though.

  10. He's a scene/post stealer. "Because one day, he'll run with the wolves too." Awesome.

  11. Some cute boys you have there. Hope you guys are getting some rest.

  12. I knew if I stopped by I'd get some Finn loving. And I was right. Sweet shot at the end. That sleeping face? Conserving energy for his world domination.

I want the bladeless fan. I want a fan that provides all the cool breeze and none of the annoying noise. Too bad by the time Santa comes it's freaking cold and I'm not thinking about fans anymore.

  13. Such awesomeness in one place. Thanks for the joy.

  14. Because of the awesome pics and links! A newborn and you can still bring the random. Way to go Cap'n

  15. That Dyson guy may be smart, but he didn't come up with the Star Wars-Pulp Fiction pic. Which is awesome.

Those boys? Also awesome. Sleeping Finn, so sweet.

  16. James Dyson needs to donate his brain to science when the time comes. The stuff that comes out of his mind can probably clear up most of this planet's problems with enough time.

  17. Yeah - where HAVE you been????
Love the randomness of the random. I could use some of those Velociraptor legs, because chicken just isn't enough for teenage boys!
    Happy Tuesday!

  21. Great pics! You are going to have your hands full with all three of those boys. Not like you don't already, but you know what I mean.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Great picture of the boys. The baby is just storing up energy for when he takes over the horde!

    ReplyDelete
  23. What fun is a fan if you can't see if you can stop the blades without losing a finger?

    ReplyDelete
  24. This is great - the pic of the boys at the end is lovely!

That paper bike is a total trip!

    ReplyDelete
  25. those pigs make me want one...a pig...or a pool...or both! LOVE the last pic!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm pretty sure if I got to hold Finn my ovaries would start working again. Just sayin'.

I was going to blog the velociraptor leg too.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Definitely random. What a cute leg, I mean baby.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ha..the fan is too expensive...the dino meat to old...but Finn is just the ticket!

Welcome back and congrats once again.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The pigs are cute, but the baby is cuter!

    ReplyDelete
  30. That's a lot of boys! Where the hell do you find all these cool pictures of cool things?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Loved the pic of the boys, I keep LOOKING for
pictures on my email. been looking for a LONG
    time, hint, hint.
If I had a pet pig I'd let him swim in my pool,
course he'd have to wear a piggy diaper.

  32. because you always come up the the most brilliant ways to say things, I keep coming back. Beautiful kids you've got there. Lucky dude.

    ReplyDelete
  33. You already know it, but let me just confirm, you and the Supreme Leader produce absolutely beautiful progeny. That new little one is so huggable. Enjoy!

    ReplyDelete
  34. So its Keely's fault! Ah-hah!

Hey, btw, dude, you got some handsome young'ns there. Hats off to you and SL!

And in my own fit of randomness, I'm listening to "Unsung" by Helmet as I type this. Fits the PF/SW theme, I think...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Bayyyybeeee pictures! Nom, nom, nom!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Great post and nice shot of the kids! You can be proud, man.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'll take two v-legs smothered in bbque sauce.

    let's make it snappy.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Overall awesomeness, wrapped in a shiny Random wrapper. That fan looks totally cool, but I've heard that Dyson dude's vacuum cleaner breaks a lot. Plus, he looks shifty.

  39. Hi there Us, I dont remember how I got here, but I am glad now I am. You have far too many followers for a blog with no Ads, which means you are truly excellent. And I shall join. I have a coupe of blogs myself. One of them is called My Ex is Dracula. On it I describe really terrible abusive things that my Ex did to me, but in a funny way. If you know what I mean. Visit if you want. My other blog, Oxygen, is my Happy place where I write about family life. I like to kill Zombies, play Star Wars lego, and abseil off things. xxooo

  40. Can you bring that little bundle to Blogher in New York this year so we can all pass him around and squeeze him and then SL can get a good night's sleep? Win-Win.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That last picture is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Virtually smooching the sweet baby face. Velociraptor leg scares me though... Ever since Jurassic Park. The Velociraptors are too smart - reminds me of my twins sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I always thought that pigs couldn't swim because their hooves are so sharp that they cut themslves and bled to death? Sorry to be so macarbe on your blog. Cool photo of the Wolves, good luck for a few years time.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I want the pigs. Please give me the pigs.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Pretty cute wolves you got there. I wonder; do the instructions for putting that bike together come in Japanese. Oh, why do I care, with these pudgy fingers of mine I'll never be able to put it together anyway so it doesn't matter what language it comes in. Shoot, I can barely type on my iTouch.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That fan is nuts!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Dude, you know you're in for it, right? Those two giant boys and that one wee one? You know they're going to take over the world, right? Or, at the very least, your household.

  48. Is that dinosaur leg 55 euros?! Probably just tastes like chicken :-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Love the photos~especially the last one. That's a wonderful family you have. I can't imagine that little one running with the wolves, but they do grow up, don't they?

Come on, sailor. I love you long time.
