Gettin' Down On The Island Of Sodor

Connor: (singing) We're busy, so busy, our wheels are spinning round. We're humping and pump-

Daddy: Huffing and puffing, hon.

Mommy: Stop laughing!

*If your child doesn't watch Thomas and Friends, this won't be as funny.

  1. Maybe that Transformer thing got Thomas a hot date! Except, I don't remember any girl trains or buses from when my kids watched. I know that left coast is pretty liberal, but gay sex on a kids show? Wow.

  2. Well, while we are pretty relaxed out here, we're not quite that relaxed. Besides, Thomas was written by a reverend and I can't see him pushing the whole 'alternative lifestyle' thing. And there was a girl train, Emily. She had big wheels. Ahahahahaha. That's not even a joke.

  3. Yeah, there was no song when my kids watched. And I don't think there was a bosom-y Emily either. Back then it was called Shining Time Station. Mr. Conductor was either Ringo Starr or George Carlin, depending on how far back you want to go.

  5. This may be the ONLY funny thing about Thomas. I could name that tune in two words. I guess since it's British, that they're more open minded to the humping and pumping. Also, whenever my son sings these songs he does it in a British accent. It's kind of creepy.

  6. Ah, Thomas. The fecking bastard trains. It really wouldn't surprise me if they were humping and pumping. That show is SO odd.

Do you notice that they are always cross about something?

And one time, they walled a train up with bricks right on the tracks. And they were all, "I wonder how long Skarloey will have to stay there?" And that was the end. What the?

  8. You cannot send me your damn Thomas movies. British children singing creeps the hell out of me. They walled up Skarloey? That show is just twisted. What does it teach children besides trains are self-centred assholes?

  9. OMgosh. My Trouble watches it. Sure dad didn't teach him that version??

  10. LOL!! Yeah, I have the collection of Thomas too - there was another femail on Thomas - her name is Lady - there is a whole live action/animated movie with Alec Baldwin and Peter Fonda that centers around her, Thomas and the Magic Railway. You think my sons are obsessed enough? 4 boys who all love that darned blue train!!! Everywhere I go he's there - hiding under the kitchen counter, on the tv, on the window sill, on the walls, and my son even sleeps inside the darned thing! yeah, we caved and bought the bed - he's getting too big for it but wants nothing to do with his bunk bed.

    Ahhh! That darned train!
