Posts Cards From The Edge: Part Two

Way back on January 20th I asked if anybody out there in blog land would like to exchange postcards because my half cube at work was a little dull looking.



I've taken about four pictures of my wall since then, but each time I did I would get home and find another one waiting for me. Out of 60-ish responses I received forty postcards, not bad.


While I love and appreciate all of them, there was one special one I received that didn't get a pin jabbed through it. And no, I'm not referring to the black and white one up on the top right from Salt Lake City, UTah, though that one is pretty awesome. Wait, what did you think that meant? Anyway, you can see it on the back drop of my screen, where all my sensitive client information would be if I hadn't remembered to hit 'desktop' before taking the picture.


Bella Sinclair of Bella Sinclair Doodlespot made me a picture of my three little Jedi's complete with a cardboard sign. Click on it for full effect. That one got it's own frame. Check out her page if you get a chance, her artwork is fantastic.


So thanks to everybody who participated, I really appreciated it.

    That artwork is awesome! I see the Dymaxion House up there. Apparently they actually are going to make them now, as they are pretty much hurricane proof, for places like Haiti.

    That is the best post card I've ever seen.

    And I do believe I see a little Cleveland up there. Glad it made its way North safely. BTW, I completely forgot what a PITA it is to send a package outside the US. You might get a box some time in the next year or so, if it makes it across the border. I forgot what was inside by the time I filled out the customs paperwork...

    So sorry I haven't been around lately and missed this. I don't think I could top the Salt Lake City Utah postcard though. The postcard idea was very cool and your cube looks awesome. Love the desktop art!

    That card is AWESOME!! I see mine down there at the bottom. My older kids were sitting next to me while reading this post and all James could think to ask me was "How does he know you?". Goofy kid.

    That's a great area! That's one thing I miss about traveling into an office to work (as I work from home now) is that I knew exactly what my work surface was going to look like, and if it was messy, I could only blame myself.

    Urgh! i wanted to do this, but have yet to procure a local postcard. I guess we could make one, but the competition seems a bit stiff. My kids can wad chewed gum to a piece of paper, would that count?
