It's been a rough week.

  1. Awwww..come on. Flip some of them over to the other side.

    How about two outta three?

This is probably why I can't stick to a diet either.

  2. Come on, Captain. New video game systems are at stake here! I expect better behavior from you. Your children must be so disappointed.

  3. How many of those little dots is Mickey Finn responsible for? Mark my words, he is the pack leader.

  4. Bummer.

But I think I found a new way to make decisions.

  5. Ha! We do the same thing, man! And we also use little containers of marbles. Marbles go in...PUT YOUR BROTHER DOWN...and marbles come back out...

  6. Oof. They can't say they didn't know what to do. "To Wii or not to Wii, that is our question!"

  7. Don't worry. When my son sasses me tonight about doing his homework, you can have ours.

  8. Your sweet little angels can't be responsible for all those frowny faces. That means you're going to need to shape up.

  9. I notice the "no Wii" side is much tidier. The Wii side is rather haphazard. It's really only 42 to 56, though. A few good deeds and they're back into the Wii. It's only Wednesday. Of course that gives them 4 more days to sell Finn to the gypsies and use the profits to buy their own Wii.

  10. Shame.. gotta make them earn it though!

  11. I am not familiar withe the sad face/happy face incentive program. I must incorporate some form of this system into my home.

Also, we have a toy light saber. Lately Ella had been running around saying "I'm life saving." Then she gently touches me with the sward. I barely had the heart to correct her. But I did. Reluctantly.

  12. I say let Spiderman decide. Look at which side he's clinging to.

  13. Well, it is only Wednesday! Maybe things will start looking up.

  16. Maybe the blue smiles can be bonus points - that would help even things out a bit.

They must play the sword fighting on the Wii Resort - hella good times!!!!

  17. We are very curious about the points system and hope noone was harmed in its creation.

  18. I like the purple guy who's sideways. It's like he can't decide whether to be good OR bad... :)

  19. BTW- What's a girl got to do to get on your blogroll? You visit, you comment, but you don't want to admit it? I see...

  20. Yeah, sticker charts don't work well in this house either. I discovered that dollar bills taped into links and formed into a paper chain is much more effective. Everyday they go without incident is a dollar earned to the fund... good luck with your stickers I hope it works for you, as for me, I'm going broke. -J

  24. I love those upside-down smiley faces. So perky, so festive, so, well, smiley.

  25. Oh come on, get a new one and don't let the kids play with it.

  26. Um, I'm gonna go with no? Unless some sort of angel-making disease strikes soon.

  27. Wow, that's a real bad week! We are currently in intense negotiations with our son to get rid of one of the Wii's (he has one, I have one, because I can't share) and get a PX whatever it is. I feel for ya. Congrats on new job, sorry I've been absent and missed so much but I'm thrilled for you!

  28. I have been a very very very good girl.....can I have a Wii? New, used, stolen....I don't care...just a Wii!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hey, if the earn the NEW Wii, can I have the OLD Wii?

    ReplyDelete
  30. At least they havn't figured out how to move the stickers yet.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Maybe spiderman can use his webs and move some of those smiley faces over to the good side!

  32. At least they're just wearing you down for a Wii. My girls are non stop wearing me down to get a puppy. I'm talking full court press, research files, positives/negatives of breeds and the list goes on.

At least the Wii doesn't poop in the house.

  33. Oh I can so relate. As it stands my Midget will never get anything new EVER again. As far as I'm concerned she'll have to beg on the street for food and clothing, cuz I just can't take it anymore!

  34. Are the sad faces from you or your sons' transgressions?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ha HAAAAAAA! and I love that the sad faces are just happy ones upside down.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ah that's really looks fun. I loved your Blog and post and I think I got addicted to your Blog as I visit everyday.. :)

  37. This brings to light an important issue in our society: Why don't they make unhappy smiley faces??
    There is obviously a need...

  38. Those upside down smiles break my heart a Wii bit.

(Sorry, I know that was desperately lame.)

  39. Ugh. Been there. Most days been there.
