Three Things

Dear everyone who was wondering about the occupant of Supreme Leader's uterus...

Dear Team Switzerland, you guys are awesome, even though you're Team Canada's kryptonite.

Dear Sidney Crosby, thank you for being Sidney Crosby.

Dear So and So...

  1. Sidney Crosby, wha? Who gives an eff, it's a BOY??

Three things indeed, three little wild things. Congrats!

  2. A boy, alright! So are you guys 3/3 or 0/3 on the gender scoreboard? Or did you want the typical "one of each and then whatever" deal?

  3. So Team Switzerland is occupying the uterus? (snort)

    Congrats, man. Three wild men...yikes!

I suppose I'll have to do some catching up on the Olympics, because I'm clueless this year.

  4. Congrats! A boy.

I know it's been while so remember one thing; toss a diaper over that thing or there will be a pee shower.

  5. Congrats! Two more and you'll have a center, two wingers and a defensive line.

    Sidney Crosby???? Pfffft.

  6. Boy right????? Awesome!!! Congratulations!!!!

  7. Are you still going to name him Cooter?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Cooter. Cooter is good. The child is blue? That doesn't seem right. Oh! You mean it's a BOY! S.L. is going to be living in a 4-penis household? She's gonna need a break every once in awhile. That's a lot of weinerhood.

  9. ...like your house needs more testosterone. Eh, at least SL will continue to be entertained.

    congrats to both of you.

  10. You know, it took me a second to realize why there was a blue box pictured. I'm ashamed to admit that actually.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I demand a recount! Are you sure there's 21 digits?
Okay, fine. Mazel tov on the male!

    ReplyDelete
  12. You guys can have your own boy band now! Congrats!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, I was a little slow on the blue flag...
    Congratulations!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh... it's a boy. It may not feel like it right now, but you may have dodged a bullet. A pink whiny manipulative bullet.

  15. WONDERFUL!!! I always wanted to see a baby smurf. I do hope you'll post pics :O)

  16. Congratulations - you're having a blue!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh shoot! I was looking forward to see what weird things you might make the Lego men do to a Barbie doll...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well, at least you've dodged the "teenage boyfriend" bullet, right? Of course, SL is now far outnumbered. Too far to catch up.

  19. CarrieAnn- you are not alone, I did the same thing. I was hoping for an ultrasound picture, which when I think about it is really inappropriate. It isn't like I really know this family, I should not have that level of visibility into their private lives, or privates for that matter.

Captain & Supreme Leader- It would have been congrats either way, but I am a softy for boys.

  20. Congrats on the little dude in there! He will be yoda in the Star Wars reenactments!! How cool is that?!?!

  21. Congrats on a boy!! How exciting.

  22. Awwww...three little boys...you are so lucky! Congratulations to the whole Dumbass family!

  23. a sweet baby boy. oh my, sending along well wishes and warm congratulations :)

  24. The girls wanted to know how "Ban Couver" was doing in the Olympics. Then one of them remarked "Man, he sure is in a lot of stuff."

Glad the uterus is looking good =-)

  25. Tell hubby your secret. He's terrified of knocking me up with girl germs, or something.

    ReplyDelete
  26. When you have three boys you can officially call them Wild Things. Really, it's true.

    Congrats!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Carolyn Online's comment makes me laugh!!

    CONGRATS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think you and the boys are going to drive SL crazy one of these days... and you're just adding another one? Jeez!

    Congratulations, in any case!

I haven't been paying much attention to the Olympics but after the whole thing with Steenky and The Shaun today on Twitter, I stayed up to watch the rerun of Oprah at 12:30 AM. Why I feel it's relevant to share that with you, I'm not sure...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ok, so you can officially pawn the shotgun now. Congratulations!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Boys are great, but did you actually get visual verification of the boy-parts..... :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Boy's rock (as you already know)! Congrats on another one!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. So you've spawned a boy...

That's actually an idea I have for the front of a greeting card. What do you think? I think awesome.

And in my defense of the whole The Shaun thing; sure I have an unnatural love for someone 14 *cough* years my junior. But if I know those snowboarder types like I think I do, I'm sure The Shaun is more than ready to settle down with a mom, 2 kids, and a mortgage. Did you know he travels with his parents everywhere. Awkward.

I also heard that Vancouver is the city that buys the most books in Canada or North America. I forget which. But anyway, congratulations on that.

Dude, I got nothin'. It's 1:00 am here.

  33. VERY cool way to announce it's a boy!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Four-to-one? You are still out numbered... Congrats!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Boys are way easier than girls, but to have a combo of boys and girls..that's just asking for a lot of crying, a lot of things shared too soon and a lot of keeping an eye on the male teenagers who come to hang out with your sons.

    Yay for boys!

    ReplyDelete
  36. In soccer parlance, three is called a "hat trick". I pulled off a hat trick of boys myself and, believe me...there's a nice symmetry to it. I thought I wanted a girl...for about five seconds and then realized what havoc that would bring to our world. Plus, it's easier to be queen when there isn't a princess waiting in the wings. Congrats to both you and Supreme Leader!

    ReplyDelete
  37. A boy? One more after this one and you could form your eagerly awaited five-a-side team!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Your poor wife is really going to be outnumbered, isn't she? :) But at least she won't have to share her crown as Supreme Leader with a Princess... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sweet! Boys ROCK!
As a reward, I left you a treat over at my place.
Will you even see these amidst all of these comments?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ah, boy the third, lucky you! Supreme Leader will now be elevated to an even more exalted, goddess-like status as your home's lone female.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I found your blog via The Crazy Coxes. Apparently she thinks we both have beautiful blogs. And can I say, this may be the only blog that my Canadian husband will be glad to see me follow. I can't believe I missed the red mitten give-away. If you don't win the hockey gold, I am deporting him back to Canada because I will not be able to stand him. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Another boy, nice one. Watched that ski racing on the snow board track yesterday. Awesome. And the British bobsleigh team going down sideways. Yikes.
    All the best.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Three boys! Whoo! A few more and you could have a soccer team...

    ReplyDelete
  44. The supreme leader bears the son of your loins....a hearty congrats to you and yours.

Team USA beat team Canada for the first time in Olympic play since the sixties. Just in case you were not aware.
    Sindey Crosby still rocks.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Woot-woot! Another boy! Congrats!

Man, when the teenage years hit, your house is going to be so overloaded on testosterone!

And just think, the hairy palm talk is going to be all up to you. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm going to need more clarification since my DAUGHTER has more blue clothes than pink or purple.

    ReplyDelete
  47. omg, and now you're planning your next girl-oriented pregnancy, aren't you?

    ReplyDelete
  48. A boy? I'm sending more super glue, deodorant, drum sticks and and a gift card for the GROCERY STORE.

    You're gonna need it.

    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh my gah. Tell Supreme Leader that if she ever needs advice or a shoulder to cry on or an ear to vent into: she can call my sorry mom-to-three-boys-overwhelmed-by-testosterone ass.

I love them all, but holy hell three boys sure give you a run for your money. I am waiting patiently for the teen years when people promise that boys get to be easier than girls.

    Uh.... Congratulations, though! :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Congrats!! A boy! WOOHOO! Do you have a name picked out yet?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Congrats on the boy!

Do you happen to know what happened to www.goodfatherblog.com?

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm behind on EVERYTHING. Forgive the late congrats, but CONGRATULATIONS on another boy. It's gonna be great! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  53. It's a BOY!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! Congrats! Now what the eff am I gonna do with all these baby clothes?

Love to you, SL, Connor and Liam. So exciting!
